Surface Technology International has been awarded a contract to support Babcock International Group with services for the UK Ministry of Defence Skynet Service Delivery Wrap programme.
The contract covers refurbishment, repair, material obsolescence management and material stock services for a number of programme assets and forms part of an existing Repair and Services Agreement supporting Babcock International Group on the Skynet programme.
The work will be delivered by Surface Technology International’s engineering team drawing on extensive experience in the manufacture and through life support of complex RF communications systems.
This award reinforces Surface Technology International’s role as a trusted UK partner delivering through life support for mission critical defence equipment and strengthens its position as a UK based supplier of critical defence products and services for defence satellite communication systems.
