21st Century Supply Chains

SC21 is a change programme designed to accelerate the competiveness of the aerospace & defence manufacturing industry by raising the performance of its supply chains.

The initiative was launched in July 2006 at the Farnborough Air show. STI joined in April 2007 via the 'key customer lead' route. Our lead implementing organisation is Selex Galileo.
We have embraced the RMM (Relationship Management Matrix) and will be rolling this approach out to our customers in the near future.

STI is also in the process of consolidating all of our continuous improvement projects and monitoring them using one document, namely the CSIP (Continuous Sustainable Improvement Plan) We also expect to develop further improvement projects as a result of the report summaries / actions plans from the RMMs.
