Quality

Several years ago STI took the pioneering step of devolving the responsibility of producing a quality product away from a “Quality Department” and onto every operative within the organisation. The resultant culture of continuous improvement, managed from within manufacturing cells by the workforce themselves, has enabled us to drive down defects and enjoy a very high level of quality delivered to our customers. Monthly metrics which are shared with our customers demonstrate this. The level of workmanship & inspection throughout the factory is to IPC-A-610 Class 3 as a minimum.
