STI has recently jointly hosted a seminar, in association with Mydata Automation, to show the operation of the Mydata equipment in a dynamic NPI environment.

As STI were placing an order for a second pick and place machine to be supplied by Mydata, this was seen as an ideal opportunity for both businesses to showcase their capabilities, with Mydata’s leading technology being utilised in STI’s best in class NPI facility.

During the seminar, different aspects of normal day-to-day production life were demonstrated such as job change over and running of the pick and place machines. In addition, all supporting software for the Mydata equipment, and the newly released MY500 jet printer were also on site for engineering evaluation.

Mydata are continuing to work with STI to help support the company’s continuing development as leaders in the market for PCB sub-contract manufacturing.
