STI continues its ongoing programme of investment in technology to further advance its manufacturing capabilities.
Our latest investment to further improve our manufacturing capabilities has been to purchase the very latest state of the art D-Series from Siemens. An investment of over £1 million will allow off-line programming and kitting and a highly impressive placement rate of 85,000 components per hour.

This investment compliments are already impressive Siemens line capability which includes HF60, S27 & F5 placement machines bringing our overall hourly component placement rate up to 182,000.
