Manufacturing Our aim is to be ahead of our Customer’s requirements - when you think you need to use a new technology, we will already have a qualified production process in place. To support this strategy we constantly invest in the best equipment and training for our employees. Technical excellence needs to be supported by strategies to improve efficiency and enable Continuous Improvement and to this effect STI operate manufacturing cells, incorporating Quality Circles where employees conduct their own Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing programmes. The results of these Quality Circles are displayed within the factory for all to see and benefit from. The sharing of business metrics within STI and with our customers has become a core element of our Continuous Improvement strategy.
